Hey, I'm Yamel! I'm a graphic designer with a deep love for film, music, and the visuals that make both feel powerful. A recent graduate of LaSalle College Vancouver, my work spans typography, branding, packaging, editorial design, photography, and a few other rabbit holes I've happily fallen into.
I'm drawn to work that feels layered and intentional, the kind that rewards a second look. Texture, typography, and mixed media are my playground, and I tend to gravitate toward concepts that are dramatic, a little witty, and land like an inside joke everyone interprets in their own way.
To me, good design isn't just about looking polished. It's about feeling like something. Whether I'm building a brand identity or designing a label, I'm always asking the same question: does this actually say something? Layered, considered, and occasionally a little cheeky. That's the goal.
