Based in Vancouver, BC, HomeGround was built around a simple but urgent mission: keep those recipes alive, and keep the people behind them close. The tagline "Stories rooted in flavour" says it plainly.
The design reflects the organic beauty of a kitchen that's actually been cooked in. Produce cutout shapes, flowing forms, textured backgrounds, and an earthy palette give the app a handmade warmth that feels less like a tool and more like a family heirloom. Imagery foregrounds the moments that matter most: hands rolling dough, tables crowded with dishes, the look on someone's face when they finally get the recipe right.
